Triple Champions: Saints Christian School Girls’ Cricket Celebrates Titles and a Four-Year Partnership
Saints Christian School used the first week of the fourth term to take stock of a remarkable season for its girls’ cricket programme. In a post on 6 October 2026, the school celebrated three titles won by the Saints girls and paid tribute to the biokineticist who has walked alongside the players for the past four years.
Three titles in one season
According to the school, the Saints girls are Steyn City Cup champions, North West champions and Elriesa Theunissen Cricket champions. The school described the results as the fruit of a long journey of development, and said the players have grown stronger, healthier and more confident both on and off the field.
- Steyn City Cup: champions
- North West: champions
- Elriesa Theunissen Cricket: champions
Four years of care behind the scenes
The post singled out JD Joubert Biokineticist (Pty) Ltd, which the school says has been part of the Saints cricket family for the past four years, pouring expertise, care and passion into the development and wellbeing of the girls. The school thanked JD Joubert for a partnership that, in its words, believes in the girls and supports their dreams.
It is the second time in a month that Saints has publicly recognised a development partner. In September the school thanked Johan Vorster of Cricket World Academy for his bowling work with the players, including one who has since been selected for the South Africa Under 19 squad.
