Potchefstroom CPF Calls for Community Participation at 2026 Annual General Meeting
The Potchefstroom Community Police Forum (CPF) has issued an open invitation to all local residents and business owners to attend its 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for Thursday, 15 October 2026.

The gathering provides a public platform for community members to engage directly on local safety initiatives and contribute to neighborhood security strategies.

In addition to reviewing forum operations, a core objective of this year's AGM is to conduct elections to fill executive committee (Exco) vacancies. Community involvement in the Exco is considered vital for maintaining strong ties between local citizens and law enforcement. Official nominations for open positions were required to be submitted via email to cpfpotch.secretary@gmail.com by 17:00 on Wednesday, 14 October 2026.

The meeting will take place at 18:00 at the SAPS Officers' Club, located on OR Tambo Street in Potchefstroom. Forum organizers are urging residents to bring neighbors and colleagues to ensure widespread community representation and foster a collaborative approach to crime prevention in the area.

Residents seeking further information or clarity regarding the meeting proceedings can reach out directly to CPF Secretary Roma Visser at 082 788 1108. Active participation in forums such as the CPF remains a key mechanism for strengthening local oversight and building safer neighborhoods in partnership with the South African Police Service.
