Leaders for the Future: Potch Girls' High RCL Disciplinary Committee Trains With FEDSAS
Potch Girls' High is investing in the learners who will help lead the school in 2027. Members of its Representative Council of Learners' Disciplinary Committee spent their Saturday at a FEDSAS training session aimed at preparing young leaders for the responsibilities that come with the role.

According to the school, the girls explored their roles within the school governing body and the wider school, as well as digital law and responsible technology use. The session also looked at the qualities of good leadership and the day-to-day functioning of the RCL.

Living the school's values
The school said its learners proudly embodied the Girls High values of Pride, Respect, Integrity, Diligence and Empathy throughout the training. With the post tagged for its leaders of 2027, the committee will soon have the chance to put what they learnt into practice.
"We look forward to seeing them put their knowledge into practice as they lead with purpose and make a positive difference at our school," the school wrote.
What this means for you
Parents and learners can expect the RCL Disciplinary Committee to bring fresh ideas on leadership and responsible technology use into the school from next year. Girls interested in leadership roles can speak to the RCL about how they are elected and trained, and follow the school's Facebook page for updates.
