JB Marks Hands Tsetse Community Hall Back to the Community
The Tsetse community gathered at its community hall for an official handover that returns the building to residents' use. The municipality said the occasion centred on community access, cultural activities and the use of public infrastructure for the benefit of residents.
Who attended
The handover was attended by the Honourable Barbara Creecy and the Executive Mayor of JB Marks Local Municipality, Cllr Gaba Thithiba ka Qhele. They joined members of the community for the occasion at the Tsetse Community Hall.
Why the hall matters
Community halls are shared public spaces used for meetings, cultural events and gatherings. The municipality framed the handover as a step towards giving residents access to public infrastructure that serves the whole community.
The post did not give details of any work done on the hall or of booking arrangements.
