A Journey Across Generations
The production sets out to explore the shifts in dance styles over the years. Rather than sticking to one era, the choreography moves from older classics through to current rhythms, reflecting how each generation leaves its own mark on the floor. The concept behind the showcase highlights how trends and music change, while the core impulse to dance carries on.
The Programme
The studio has split the weekend into two distinct evenings:
- Friday, 20 November (18:30): The official showcase opens to the general public.
- Saturday, 21 November (18:30): A private prizegiving evening reserved for the dancers' parents, families, and friends.
Venue and Bookings
Both sessions take place at the hall of the Nederduitse Gereformeerde Kerk Potchefstroom-Vyfhoek, situated at 40 Tinktinkie Street in Baillie Park.
