A Fun Day Out for a Worthy Cause
Hartspad and Asambo Giving Back have joined forces to host the Hartspad Giving Back Hustle on Saturday, 31 October 2026. Taking place at Hartspad Adventure Trails on Welgegund Road in Boskop, the event is a charity fundraiser with all proceeds going directly towards supporting members of the local community in need.
Running from 08:00 to 12:00, the morning offers an unpretentious outing focused on mud, colour, and easygoing fun rather than tight competition or finish line times.
Routes and Obstacles for Every Pace
Participants can choose between a 5km and a 10km route along the venue's dirt trails. Both distances feature a mix of fun obstacles designed to add a bit of dirt and colour to the morning. Fitness levels are not a concern, as completing every obstacle along the way is entirely optional. Participants can tackle the course at their own speed, making it suitable for young children, casual walkers, and regular runners alike.
Finishing medals will be awarded to all participants, and additional prizes will be up for grabs throughout the morning. Entry is free for children under six, while tickets are priced at R50 for school learners aged six to 18, and R150 for adults.
Business Challenge and Community Involvement
Alongside family and individual entries, the organizers are running a Business Challenge, encouraging local company teams to enter, test their spirit, and take on some friendly competition against fellow businesses.
Opportunities are also open for sponsorships, volunteers, and stalls. Businesses interested in setting up a challenge station, sponsoring prizes, or offering support on the day can get in touch with the team directly at info@hartspad.co.za or nico@asambo.co.za.
