Blitzboks Launch Campaign with School Engagement and Community Outreach Ahead of SVNS Season
SA Rugby and the Springbok Sevens team have officially kicked off their preparations for the upcoming HSBC SVNS season, introducing a community-focused campaign centered on unity, youth engagement, and social responsibility

The initiative launched alongside a new fan engagement concept titled BlitzNation and its accompanying "Seven-Minute Blitz" challenge. The strategy aims to bridge the gap between national team players and local communities, encouraging supporters to complete, create, or transform something within a seven-minute timeframe, mirroring the duration of a standard sevens rugby half.

Community Engagement at Paulus Joubert Secondary

As part of the campaign's rollout, Blitzbok squad members visited Paulus Joubert Secondary School in Paarl. The venue holds significant history for the national sevens program, serving as the alma mater for Springbok and former Blitzbok winger Kurt-Lee Arendse, current assistant coach Renfred Dazel, and the late former Springbok center Tinus Linee.

During the visit, players engaged with learners in structured discussions covering social issues, including responsible masculinity, bullying, and gender-based violence.
