Thuntsha Lerole Service Delivery Programme Comes to Alabama, Matlosana, on 16 October
Residents of Alabama and surrounding parts of Matlosana are invited to the latest round of Thuntsha Lerole, the provincial government's accelerated service delivery programme. The district municipality shared the invitation on Tuesday 13 October 2026, calling on residents to "join the Provincial Thuntsha Lerole Phase 6 Accelerated Service Delivery Programme". The day gives the community a chance to see service delivery work in the area and to raise concerns directly with government.
Who is involved
The event poster names North West Premier Lazarus Kagiso Mokgosi and carries the branding of the North West Provincial Government, the Dr Kenneth Kaunda District Municipality and the City of Matlosana Local Municipality.
Where and when
The programme takes place in Ward 3 of the City of Matlosana. It opens in the morning with an exhibition of service delivery work, followed by a community feedback session at midday.
- Date: Friday 16 October 2026
- Venue: Open space next to Excelsior Primary School, Alabama, Ward 3
- 09:00: Service delivery exhibition
- 12:00: Community feedback
What this means for you
If you live in Alabama or nearby and have questions or complaints about municipal services, the 12:00 community feedback session is the time to raise them in person. Arrive early if you would like to see the exhibition from 09:00.
It helps to bring any reference numbers for complaints you have already logged with the municipality, so that officials can follow up on them.
