Technical High School Klerksdorp Gymnast Chade Jansen Medals at Rhythmic Gymnastics National Champs
Technical High School Klerksdorp has shared the news that one of its learners is among the country's top senior rhythmic gymnasts. The school reposted a Gymnastics South Africa announcement naming the three senior all-around medallists at this year's national championships, with Chade Jansen, competing for North West, among them.
On the national podium
The senior all-around is the headline category in rhythmic gymnastics, combining a gymnast's scores across all of her apparatus routines. Gymnastics South Africa listed three medallists in the category: Chade Jansen of North West, Alina Galukhin of Western Cape and Jeanne-Marie Kitshoff of Gauteng.

Already competing on the world stage
The national medal follows another milestone for Chade this year. In an earlier post, the school said she had taken part in her first Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Milan, Italy, representing South Africa against some of the best gymnasts in the world.
The school described that as an important first step towards her dream of representing South Africa at the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
"We are incredibly proud of your dedication, courage and determination, Chade!" the school wrote.
