Nathan Bradley and Kaone Mqikela to Lead Klerksdorp Methodist Primary's LRC in 2027
Klerksdorp Methodist Primary School has introduced the team that will lead its Learner Representative Council (LRC) next year. The school shared photos of its 2026 prize-giving, where the new head leaders were inducted alongside performances by the choir and dance group.
Meet the 2027 head leaders
Four learners make up the LRC's head leadership team for 2027. The school wished them well with a simple message: “Good luck, leaders!”
- Head Boy: Nathan Bradley
- Head Girl: Kaone Mqikela
- Deputy Head Boy: Oluga Mushome
- Deputy Head Girl: Ronewa Phopi
An induction on prize-giving night
The induction formed part of the school's 2026 prize-giving. According to the school's post, the occasion also featured the choir and the dance group, with staff photos taken to mark the event.
Holding the induction at prize-giving gave the new leaders a moment in front of the whole school community, as the current year's achievers were recognised and the next group of learner leaders stepped forward.
A year of leading by example
As head leaders of the LRC, the four will represent their fellow learners in 2027 and serve as the face of the school's learner body. For a primary school, the role is often a learner's first real taste of leadership, and the school's message makes clear that it is backing its new team.
What this means for you
Parents and learners can congratulate Nathan, Kaone, Oluga and Ronewa as they prepare to take on their roles in the new school year. Keep an eye on the school's Facebook page for news of the LRC's activities and events in 2027.
