Make a Splash: Curro Klerksdorp Preschool Hosts a Water Play Open Day on 23 October
Choosing a preschool is one of the first big school decisions parents make, and Curro Klerksdorp is inviting families to see its preschool in action rather than just reading about it. The open day is built around one of the youngest learners' favourite activities: playing with water.
More than just splashing
In its announcement, the school explained that water play is far more than fun for little ones. While children pour, splash and giggle, they are also picking up early maths concepts such as volume, capacity, measurement and weight.
The children may not realise how much they are learning, the school noted, adding that all they know is that it is fun and they wish the moment would never end.
What to expect on the day
In a related post, the school said preschool visits are a chance for parents of children aged three to six to meet the teachers, tour the campus, let their little ones join in the activities and attend a short information session for parents.

What this means for you
Parents in Klerksdorp who are looking for a preschool for 2027 should diarise 23 October and bring their little ones along. The school says enrolments are open.
It is a good idea to phone the school beforehand to confirm your visit and ask whether children should bring a change of clothes, since the morning is all about water.
