Klerksdorp Hoërskool Dancer Miané Minne Earns DTMA National Colours in Three Categories
The Klerksdorp Hoërskool community has another national-level achiever to celebrate in the arts. A post shared by the administrator of the school's official Facebook group says Miané Minne impressed on stage at the championships of the DTMA (Dance, Talent and Model Association), and her results have opened the door to international competition next year.
Colours in solo and group work
Miané competed at the DTMA SA National Championships at Carnival City on Friday, 25 September. According to the post, she showed what she can do on stage and received her DTMA SA national colours in three categories, covering both solo and ensemble work.
- Contemporary (pre-amateur): quartet
- Lyrical (pre-amateur): group
- Contemporary (pre-amateur): solo
Earning colours in a solo category as well as in a quartet and a group shows range across two different styles of dance, contemporary and lyrical.
An international stage in 2027
With these results, Miané also qualifies to represent DTMA at international level in 2027. The post did not say where or when the international event will take place.
