City of Matlosana Launches Agricultural Development Initiative
Organised by the Matlosana National Fresh Produce Market, this targeted event is designed to connect farmers, small business owners, agro-processors, and other key agricultural stakeholders. The upcoming gathering seeks to create an inclusive environment that supports local enterprise, drives economic development, and expands market access for producers within the North West province.
Expanding Networking and Showcase Platforms
Matlosana’s upcoming agricultural showcase has been structured to offer participants a direct platform to present their products and services to both the public and fellow industry stakeholders The event will accommodate various vendors, allowing local entrepreneurs and agro-processors to display their harvests, value-added goods, and related services. By encouraging interactive engagement, the municipality expects the event to provide essential networking channels that can help small businesses expand their customer bases and form vital B2B connections.
This event represents a hands-on approach by the local government to tackle the challenges face by emerging and established agricultural players. By organising high-visibility gatherings in busy commercial areas, the municipality hopes to strengthen local supply chains and promote the consumption of locally sourced agricultural products.
