Family Fun and Meet-and-Greets Planned for West Acres Centre
Meet Bluey and Bingo
The popular animated characters Bluey and Bingo will make special appearances in the parking area outside West Acres Shopping Centre.

Time: 11:30 am to 2:00 pm (appearances at regular intervals)
Cost: Free entry
Families attending are advised to arrive early to queue for photos. Only one group photo per family is permitted, and visitors must use their own phones or cameras. Refreshments will be available for purchase nearby.
Live Music and Entertainment
Musician Etienne Steyn will perform live during the event, alongside dedicated children's entertainment and free face-painting sessions for young attendees.
Train Rides and Spin-to-Win
Kids aged 6 to 12 can take a train ride across the premises. To qualify, parents must spend R50 or more on a single till slip at any West Acres store on 29 August. Slips cannot be combined.
Shoppers spending R150 or more at Zigmart or City Fish & Chips on the day can also participate in a spin-and-win promotion while stocks last.
Kiddies Trolley Dash
Pick n Pay West Acres will host a Kiddies Trolley Dash for children aged 7 to 13 years.
How to enter: Spend R250 or more at Pick n Pay on Saturday, 29 August, and place the till slip in the entry box.
Lucky draw: Saturday, 29 August at 15:00 (three children will be selected).
Trolley Dash event: Sunday, 30 August at 09:00.
