Potch Girls' High Cross Country Team Shines as Peloentle Ndala Qualifies for SA Champs! πββοΈπ₯
The High School for Girls Potchefstroom is celebrating a phenomenal cross country season following standout performances at the Athletics Central North West (ACNW) Cross Country Championships on 22 August.
The U16 team put on a dominant show to earn 2nd place age-group medals, while star runner Peloentle Ndala achieved a career milestone by earning her official selection to represent North West at the upcoming SA Championships in Pretoria.
Top Achievements & Team Highlights:
π₯ U16 Team Silver: Peloentle Ndala, Luthando Mafoko, Tshireletso Mokobane, and Natalie Mpofu claimed 2nd place overall in their age group.
πΏπ¦ SA Champs Qualification: Peloentle Ndala placed 9th individually, securing her place on the North West provincial team after five consecutive years of top 10 finishes at ACNW.
πββοΈ Season Performance: The squad competed in six league races throughout the season, displaying immense personal growth and team spirit.
