Young Chefs Head to the Kitchen for Purple Carrot’s Holiday Programme
Purple Carrot School of Culinary Art hosts its Kids Holiday Club from 29 September to 2 October 2026, offering four hands-on cooking sessions for children.
Each day focuses on practical kitchen skills alongside specific dishes, giving participants a chance to prepare both savoury meals and sweet treats.
What’s on the Menu
The daily programme covers the following line-up:
- 29 September: Pasta and sauces, featuring lessons in basic health and safety.
- 30 September: Stir-fry and panna cotta, focusing on basic knife skills.
- 1 October: Beef burgers and cupcakes.
- 2 October: Pies and flapjacks.
Times and Pricing
Sessions run within a window between 09:00 and 15:00, though classes do not span the entire duration. Specific start and end times for individual classes will be confirmed upon registration.
- Single class: R300 per child, per day
- Full four-day package: R1000 per child
