Pinktober Bowls Night supporting Breast Cancer Awareness

Round Table 47 and the Potchefstroom Country Club Bowls section have partnered to host Bowling4Boobies on Wednesday, 14 October 2026. The charity event starts at 17:00 at the Potchefstroom Country Club Bowls greens, bringing people together for a night on the lawn in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

What to Expect on the Night

Teams of four can register for R2 500 per team. The entry fee covers bowls action alongside a Beefmaster beef burger dinner, welcoming drinks, and gifts for participants.

Players are encouraged to dress up in pink, with prizes lined up for the Best Dressed Team, Best Team Name, and the group showing the Most Gees. Following the bowls action, the event will transition into a Pink Party Jam featuring DJ Nico. A cash bar will be available on-site throughout the evening.

Supporting Cancer Organisations

Every cent raised through entry fees will be donated directly to two organisations dedicated to cancer support and care: the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA) and Reach for Recovery.
