Teeing Up for Abraham Kriel Childrens Home

Newlyn Engineering is hosting a charity golf day challenge at the Potchefstroom Golf Club to raise funds for the Abraham Kriel Children Home. The event offers local golfers a chance to get onto the green while supporting a worthy cause in the region.

Scheduled for Thursday, 3 September 2026, the day focuses on fundraising and friendly competition, with all proceeds from the event going directly to the children's home.

What to Expect on the Day

The tournament will follow a Betterball Scramble Drive format. Registration begins early at 08:00, followed by a shotgun start at 09:30.

To keep things lively, well-known personality Pieter Rischmuller will serve as the master of ceremonies for the day.

An entry fee of R2 000 secures a spot for a four-ball team. This fee covers:

• Green fees

• A player gift bag

• A light lunch
