Final Call to Lock Up Your Boss at Paws Haven

Employees looking to place their employers behind bars for a good cause have reached the final stretch. Registration for the Adopt Your Boss Fundraiser, hosted by Paws Haven, closes on 31 August at 17:00 ahead of the main event scheduled for 4 September 2026.

Popular "Breeds" Snapped Up Early

Several businesses have already signed up for the initiative, including Nova Life, Kyalami Motors, Theo Eiendomme, Wildman Hunting & Outdoor, Motech, and Eastvaal Multi Franchise.

Meanwhile, teams from Toyota and Bert’s Bricks were adopted before making it to the kennels, leaving their managers off the hook for stay time.

How the Kennel Lockdown Works

Participating workplaces rally their teams to raise funds to "adopt" and temporarily house their management on 4 September. Each registered participant receives essential care for the day, including food, water, vaccination, rabies treatment, deworming, and microchipping. Sterilisation options are also available at an extra fee.
