Fresh Look and Packed Schedule for North West Dragons in 2026/27 Season
The 2026/27 South African domestic cricket season kicks off with the North West Dragons launching their new September schedule across two competitive formats. Sporting refreshed logos and new kits, the team opens their campaign with four away fixtures lined up throughout the month.
Red-Ball Campaign Starts on the Road
The Dragons open their season in the longer format with two consecutive first-class fixtures. Their first outing is a four-day match against the Knights, scheduled from 10 to 13 September.
Immediately following that, the side travels to face Boland in another red-ball clash running from 17 to 20 September.
White-Ball Action Closes Out September
After completing their first-class obligations for the month, the squad transitions to short-form cricket in the T20 Challenge.
25 September: T20 fixture against the Warriors.
28 September: T20 fixture against Border.
Both short-format encounters will be played away from home, completing a busy four-match opening month for the franchise.
