National Autism Symposium Returns for Its 10th Edition - Part 1
Following a brief hiatus in 2025, the National Autism Symposium is making a return this year. The 10th edition of this milestone event is scheduled to take place from 28 to 29 August 2026, hosted at the North-West University in Potchefstroom.
This year, the symposium centres around a forward-looking theme: “Celebrating Autism – Next Steps.” It serves as a prominent platform in South Africa for exploring autism through a neuro-affirming lens, focusing on honouring autistic voices, promoting inclusive practices, and sharing practical approaches that embrace neurodiversity.
