A New Kind of Night Out on the Fairway
The Reinke Cricket Oval is set to trade traditional wickets for glowing fairways this winter. On Friday, 17 July 2026, the venue will host the BriteGolf Adventure, a pop-up event that introduces a luminous twist to the game of golf.
The event features a completely illuminated course designed for night-time play. Participants will navigate the custom setup using specialised LED equipment, transforming the cricket ground into a vibrant, glowing social hub under the stars.
What to Expect on the Night
The evening is structured around casual, social play rather than strict tournament rules, making it accessible to players of all skill levels.
The Main Event: A dedicated glow-in-the-dark golf course winding across the oval.
On-Site Amenities: A variety of food and drink stalls will operate throughout the evening alongside live music and entertainment.
Competitions: Local businesses and groups can participate in a "Best Stand Competition," with additional raffles and giveaways scheduled during the night.
Ticket and Sponsorship Details
Entry tickets are priced at R250 per person, which includes the rental of a BriteGolf LED golf ball for the course.
Local brands and independent vendors also have the opportunity to get involved directly by sponsoring a watering hole for R200, or by setting up an exhibition stand to compete for prizes. Due to space constraints on the oval, organizers have indicated that booking slots for both players and exhibitors are limited.
