Give a Second Chance: Open Your Heart and Home to These Loving Animals
Animals Looking for a Forever Home
Chopper: An 8-year-old male dog who is gentle, affectionate, house-trained, and gets along well with kids, cats, and other dogs. He lost his previous home due to family medical circumstances and is eager for a second chance.
Duke: An 8-month-old male Dachshund mix located in Kennel K1. He is loving, friendly, full of energy, and needs a new home after his owners had to downsize.
Dixie: A 2-year-old female Pug waiting in Kennel K2. She is sweet, gentle, and full of love, looking for a safe haven after not getting along with bigger dogs.
The Three Musketeers: A trio of 10-week-old puppy brothers currently housed in Kennel K12. Known as "The Brave One," "The Funny One," and "The Fast One," these energetic, playful pups hope to be adopted together.

The Step-by-Step Adoption Process
Adopting a pet ensures each animal goes to a safe, secure, and lifelong home:
Step 1: Application & Documentation: Visit the shelter to meet the animals and complete an official adoption application form. You must bring a copy of your ID, proof of residence, and written landlord permission if you are renting.
Step 2: Pre-Home Inspection: An inspector will conduct a home visit to check that your property is fully enclosed, safe, and suitable for the specific needs of the animal.
Step 3: Meet & Greet: If you have existing pets or young children, a meet-and-greet session is scheduled at the shelter to verify compatibility before finalizing.
Step 4: Veterinary Prep & Finalization: Once approved, the adoption fee covers essential medical care including sterilisation, vaccinations, deworming, and microchipping. After processing, you sign the final contract and welcome your new companion home!
Facility Needs & Community Support
To ensure every animal stays in a clean and comfortable space while awaiting adoption, support from the community is essential:
Kennel Renovation: Donations of Midnight Grey paint, or monetary contributions to purchase it, are urgently needed to help repaint all kennels.
Special Thanks: Sincere appreciation goes out to Oom Nico and his team, as well as the Hackers team from the Epol Cup, for their recent generous donations of dog food.
